About Del Toro
Prior to starting Del Toro Loan Servicing, Inc. in 2006, Drew Louis and his wife Liz were full-time securities brokers. Wanting to have more control over the outcome of their investments and see them up close eventually caused them to move away from the stock market and focus more on real estate as investors and lenders.
After a few years as real estate lenders and brokers, they decided to focus on the service side of the industry. By 2010, Del Toro was providing document preparation and loan servicing to over 1,000 people, causing business to grow over 20% annually since that time. The reason for the steady growth was due to both the quality of Del Toro clients and the passionate and professional staff.
“We work with lenders and brokers who do things the right way and appreciate a high level of personalized service. We go above and beyond to help them achieve their goals.” – Drew Louis, CEO
Del Toro has a culture that revolves around constant personal and professional development. While others claim to be great, Del Toro promises to be different. Daily, monthly and quarterly meetings are designed to build alignment and promote education, confidence and value. Success is a process. Not an event. It is worked on every day.
Committed to being industry educators, Del Toro organizes and sponsors free seminars featuring industry leading speakers and is currently working on a library of archived articles and videos to feature on this website. Whether via technology or through personal relationships, Del Toro’s commitment is to deliver services in a way that helps clients be more compliant and efficient, resulting in being more profitable.
Our Why
Have you seen those fix and flip shows on tv or seen a few house remodels transform the look and feel of a whole neighborhood?
Have you heard of a small loan turn someone’s dreams into a profitable business that makes a difference to a lot of people? We help make all of that happen…..
Those people who have that creative, entrepreneurial spirit and vision don’t always speak the same language that the institutions or individuals they hope to get funding from do. We become their translators, project managers and cheer leaders. We work with all of the key players to effect clear communication, manage deadlines, and provide transparency. We also bridge any gaps between ancillary players like title and escrow companies, law firms, appraisers, investors etc. We work hard to make sure that people in our circle do things The Right Way and reflect positively on the industry.
We didn’t invent Private Lending, we just made it better.

Drew
A career as a stock broker brought Drew to California from Chicago in 1990 and led to a position in Private Banking at Wells Fargo. After 15 years and two significant market crashes, he looked for something with more stability.
In 2005, on the same day his wife Liz took leave to have their first child, he resigned his position and together founded what was to become Del Toro Loan Servicing, Inc. Over the years, Drew has developed relationships with some of the best people in the industry. Personally and professionally these clients and vendors have become very important to him.
Recently Drew is in demand as a consultant to investors and brokers and expert witness to law firms.
